Absolutely loved our stay here!!! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We brought our adult children and they loved it just as much. There is nothing negative I can say except I wish we could have stayed longer. We had no issues with the traffic as I had read in past posts. The house was spotless when we arrived and we were greeted with a nice little gift of Chill beer and Perrier. The back yard was a little oasis. The pool was the best!! We spent half the day at the beach which was maybe a 7 minute drive, we went to Eagle Beach. We then went back to the house for lunch and floating around in the amazing pool. The washer/dryer was a nice bonus to go home with all clean clothes. We found it to be very peaceful and enjoyed every minute at this house which is maybe 10 minutes from Palm Beach and 10 minutes for Oranjestad. Again, loved loved loved this house

We stayed here for 2 weeks sept 2018. This property is all about the outside living. Excellent pool and size of the outdoor area of this property are much better than the photos give an impression of . The villa has everything you need to enjoy a great stay. Yes the inside could be slightly improved upon but everything you need is there. The kitchen has more than enough appliances and utensils. Wifi is strong all over the property , cable tv is available which we didnt use. From booking into and leaving we only had one issue which was with the microwave which was resolved within an hour. Yes one hour thats the service you can expect to recieve , totally stress free with all bases covered by an exceptionally professional and dedicated team. Other reviews mentioned noise from the road which at times is busy, but for us was not an issue as when in the pool area it is not very noticable. We had a very happy time during our stay here.

We were a group of 2 adult couples so only used 2 of the 4 bedrooms. This was an amazing stay, definitely 5 stars for the home and for the outstanding service and responsiveness of Aruba Happy Rentals. Let me start with the minor negatives and some comments from other reviewers here. First, the location is 8 minutes from the nearest beach, 12 minutes from Eagle Beach and 14 minutes from Palm Beach ideally. Add a couple minutes during high traffic times. Some may not like the travel times and need for a rental car, but we managed it perfectly fine. A car rental is a must and there is free parking at all beaches and very easy to find a spot. The "busy street" can get noisy at times during the day but is definitely calm at night after 10pm or so. It was never at any point an issue for us. We were gone most of the day at the numerous places to visit in Beautiful Aruba and at the amazing pool at other times. To be fair, we're from a very busy city so the street traffic at this home was humerus compared to our neighborhood. Last minor issue is the small 2nd bathroom and lack of a 3rd bathroom. It was only a very minor issue for us (the girls would not use the small outhouse bathroom) but I can imagine a bigger group having more of an issue. By all means though, this should not prevent anyone from booking this property, believe me.
Now the many many pros. The pictures in the listing do not do justice to the home. It's not luxury but the home is well furnished, the beds are comfortable and the outside area is really well put together. There is everything you need in and outside the house. The pool is spectacular and completely private. We could not get enough time in the pool, even at night they have pretty lights that light up the pool and make it so inviting. There are also pool cleaners that come often and keep the pool in excellent condition. Another really nice touch is that the pool is perfectly located in the house. There is always a portion of the pool covered in sun and some covered in shade thanks to the well placed trees on the property. Also plenty of beds outside to tan and seating areas in the shade.
As stated above, the location was convenient for us. It is actually centrally located and we loved driving around and getting to know the whole island. Baby Beach on the far south is only 35 minutes away. Also, we didn't find this out until the end of the trip but one of the best restaurants on the island is a wonderful colombian place los cafeteros that is only 3 minutes from the house. There are also many supermarkets in short distance, including tesco right up the street. The huge supermarkets are a bit further.
I also have to point out the excellent customer service and communication from Aruba Happy Rentals. Whenever we needed anything, they responded timely and accommodated quickly. They were all so very helpful and made our stay so seamless. They will even help you rent a car, make sure to ask if you have questions or have any issues. you will be surprised at the level of attentiveness.
Last thing - the utilities were a non-issue for us as well. We ended up under the allowed amount by a day and a half. We were most of the time out or in the pool area though with occasional tv usage at nights. I imagine a bigger group that stays indoors with lights on all day could have an issue. I just wonder though, if you're indoors a lot on a trip like this, why even make the trip?
Overall, this was an amazing stay and Aruba is such a beautiful island. You won't go wrong booking this property. We all had zero complaints. We only wished we had more time. Can't wait to go back.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze villa. We waren met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen van 11 en 13 jaar. Er waren een paar minpunten en heel veel plus punten. De minpunten waren, dat de villa aan een erg drukke weg ligt, waar je het verkeer in de slaapkamer duidelijk hoort, maar waar je overdag geen last van hebt omdat het huis tussen de weg en tuin ligt. Het andere minpunt was dat het binnen meubilair niet echt comfortabel zit en we miste binnen een eettafel met stoelen, mocht je de warmte even willen ontvluchten. Het budget voor stroom en water is prima, mits je de airco echt alleen voor het slapen in de nacht gebruikt.
De grote pluspunten zijn dat je een mooi groot zwembad hebt. Een hele grote tuin met een ruime porch waar je makkelijk met meer dan 10 mensen kan zitten in de schaduw. Maar je kan ook in de zon liggen op de ligbedjes die er staan. Je hebt een buitendouche waar je het zand van een dagje strand kan afspoelen zonder alles mee naar binnen te nemen. Een ander groot pluspunt is de service van Happy Rental. Als er wat was, werd er gelijk wat aangedaan. Bijvoorbeeld: we konden na een paar dagen de douchekop niet meer ophangen omdat er wat was afgebroken, maar diezelfde middag hing er nog een splinter nieuw ophangsysteem. Ik zou dit huis zeker aanraden voor een gezin met kleine als grote kinderen, maar een groep vrienden zal zich hier zeker ook thuis voelen.

A great place for families. The pool and yard and outdoor eating area making this rental a fantastic place to stay with kids. Rent a car an check out all the beaches and sight see, for a small island Aruba has a wealth of fun adventures.

My family of 5 (kids aged 9, 11, and 14) just spent a week here First the downsides: 1) This house is on a fairly busy street. There is steady traffic, which I can see bothering some people. The entrance however is on a side street, and the pool/deck area is separated from the street by the house. Privacy was not an issue. Just the noise. 2) Some of the furnishings are older, and show signs of wear. 3) The house is not next to the beach. 4) You will most certainly go over the budgeted utilities. We went over about US$35, and felt like we were VERY frugal. Those things considered, my family LOVED this house. The neighborhood: The house is located in a residential neighborhood. The neighbors were nice, and we felt completely safe here. We had a car and spent a lot of time exploring the island. Our favorite beaches were at the North and South ends of the island (15minutes/25minutes). The airport was about 15 minutes away, everything felt close. You will want a car here though. The house: The house was clean, and bug free (not always the case even in very nice places in the Caribbean in my experience). The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, but note there is no oven, so don’t plan on doing any baking. Previously mentioned issues on the property with the refrigerator have been corrected. The fridge seemed new and kept my beer cold, and the freezer kept our popsicles frozen solid. Dishwasher worked great. We ate dinner at home most nights, and found everything we needed aside from measuring cups. The wi-fi worked fine, though when all 5 of us were using it it acted up a bit. 3 people seemed like its max for best speed. Beds were comfy, the AC worked great (only used at night). The breeze thru the house when the windows were opened was magic! The bathrooms seem like they may have been recently renovated. Very clean, and nice fixtures. Sheets/towels were clean, and there were plenty of towels. There was a tv, but we never used it. The pool/deck/garden: This size of the pool (and the slide) is what sold us on this property and we were not disappointed. The plants were well maintained and provided privacy from the neighbors and the street. The pool was clean and well maintained. It was a great place for the kids to splash about and unwind after busy days of exploring. The outdoor furnishings were comfortable and clean. In Aruba you spend a lot of time outside, including mealtime. Aruba Happy Rentals: Met me on time, checked in during our stay via phone and email to be sure we were doing ok, and were on time for check out. They carefully explained how the utilities worked, and were helpful about letting us know where the best groceries were to be found. ? We had a FANTASTIC trip, and would gladly (likely will) stay here again.
